Dementia care
As dementia progresses, the changes in the lives of clients and their families mean care at home can be difficult to manage without professional support. Ark’s dementia service is led by experienced mental health nurses and all our carers have received extensive training in dementia care. As your client’s physical health declines, our Registered General Nurses will make sure they are well looked after.

Learning disabilities
By taking time to understand your client’s disability and manage any challenging behaviour, we can help them develop the skills they need to lead fulfilling lives and help their families to cope.

Mental health
We can help people to rebuild vocational skills, which they may have lost in acute care, and regain their life in the community.

Neurological disorders
Brain disorders can have an enormous impact on people’s lives, physically, intellectually, and emotionally. We take care to meet clients’ special needs and help them lead an active and fulfilling life. We also make sure we understand when to give support and when to take a step back to give your client maximum independence.
