Training and Development
Through the quality of our training and development we aim to increase job satisfaction and knowledge and ensure a desired learning path is in place for all carers.
Our staff are provided with a comprehensive development plan to ensure that they can support our clients and meet the demands of our regulators and commissioners, which include:
- Full mandatory induction program
- Full mandatory training and update program
- Specialist training which can be developed to support specific clients and/or carers
- All our carers are registered to complete a nationally recognised qualification NVQ, BTec Diploma, Apprenticeship and we deliver this training in a number of ways to ensure that we can help our care workers to achieve their qualification whilst maintaining work/life balance
- Every carer has additional support available to them and this includes Basic Skill training, ESOL training, one-to-one sessions which are especially useful for those out of education for some years and who need to build their confidence
- Advanced training to NVQ 3, 4 and Level 5
